17:26 Jia Ying 9 Comments

Did you ever heard of MOLPay Cash ?
As a frequent online shopper, I always made my payment by using the online banking or the credit/debit card.
However, for those who don't have online banking account or the credit/debit card, you may find it troublesome to make a purchase through a website.
I think of my mum, who don't have an online account or card. She will find that online shopping is not secure.

MOLPay, one of the leading payment in Southeast Asia and 7-Eleven Malaysia, the country’s largest convenience store chain come together for an innovative payment option. Consumers can now pay cash at the nearest 7-Eleven outlets for items they bought online. (Over the counter payment)

Lazada Malaysia, one of the well known online shopping website, provides this MOLPay as one of the payment option. You can just do your shopping using your mobile device, place an order, and later go to any of the 7-Eleven outlet to pay your payment with cash.

Let's see how you can make your life easy, just using your mobile device!!
1. Download the Lazada Malaysia Mobile App
Play Store         Apple Store

2. Open the app, and select the item you would like to buy. Lazada Malaysia provides with hundreds of thousands of products across categories including health and beauty, home and living, fashion, mobiles and tablets, consumer electronics and home appliances, etc...

3. Personally, I selected an exercise bicycle for my parents from the Cardio Equipment category. Put the product you would like to buy in the cart, and later proceed to checkout.

 4. Check your shipping detail, especially the address. For the payment, there are variety options. Choose the logo with 7-Eleven. Your cash payment must be made within 48 hours or order will expire.

5. Review and confirm your order. Then, make your cash payment over the the nearest 7-Eleven outlets with the transaction ID. Once payment done, you will receive the email about your order and payment. Tadaaa~~~ wait at home for your parcel to arrive !!!! Easy, secure and convenience!!

One of the best thing about MOLPay is it remove all your worry about whether you will make a double transaction or insecure online banking transaction.

Johor Bahru, a city where I was born and grew up. It's more well known when you mention it's the city next to Singapore.
It's not a city that you will see a lot of tourists, if compare to other cities in Malaysia.
As a traveler, travel is to discover the hidden and unusual attraction.
All the city have it's own unique beauty and you just need to find it. There is no boring city, it's depend on how you have fun in the place you visit.

9am- 1st stop : Breakfast

Skipping a meal can set you up for overeating in the next meal of the day. Eating breakfast is important to refresh and energise yourself. Here's I suggested 2 different breakfast in JB town area.

Curry Hor Fun
For those who love curry and spicy, you may love to have this curry hor fun from Seng Kee at Taman Sri Tebrau.
Not very spicy, which is well suit to me, with some vege and meat as the ingredients with the hor fun.
As I see the whole coffee shop, almost all tables have at least an order for curry hor fun.
This curry hor fun only sell in the morning, so do wake up early to enjoy this breakfast.

Kee Kim Huat Kopitiam

Hainanese Porridge
If you prefer a plain breakfast, porridge maybe is a good choice for you.
The rice is cooked until grainy and thick, with some pork meat, fried shallots and You Char Kway.
You may add the egg, which is optional with extra charge.

Multi Mart kopitiam

10.30am - 2nd stop : Danga Bay, Johor Bahru.
After the breakfast, Enjoy your day at Danga Bay with the breeze and facilities.

Food hunting continued with a simple morning snack in Johor Bahru.
I guess most of us didn't heard about this snack " Kacang Pool"
Kacang Pool, which is a kind dish adapted from Middle East.
As you can see from the photo, it served with thick toast, and the specially made bean sauce with an egg.
One of the most famous stall served the Kacang Pool is located at Larkin.

Medan Selera Bomba Larkin
26, Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, Taman Larkin , 80350 Johor Bahru.

12.30pm - 4th stop : Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple
Don't miss this popular Indian Temple in JB, which it's interior and exterior is covered in glass.
It' free entrance for all the Malaysian, with a charge of RM3 if you would like to take picture or video with camera or phone.
It is beautiful and stunning. The temple is not big, but the location is a bit difficult to search.
I and my friend spent some time in this temple, appreciate the beauty of temple and the light reflection of the glass.

1.30pm - 5th stop : Lunch
We went to a restaurant nearby to have some seafood lunch. One of the special seafood they served will be this boneless fried fish.
The only part of this fish which can't eat is the tail. It's not fried until crispy, but very fragrance with soft flesh.

Seng Steam Fish Restaurant

2.30pm - 6th stop : Dessert/ Tea time
After the lunch, we went for dessert. With the sunny weather, it's great to have some Cendol to make ourselves refresh and cool.
This cendol is not very sweet, as they used the palm sugar, with rich of coconut milk.
I ordered a Cendol Special, which has glutinous rice besides the ice shave.

We ordered some Malay Kuih such as fried banana, banana fritter and some keropok.
Well, there is always have another stomach which reserve for the dessert and snack. Haha~~

Cendol House,
41, Jalan Utama, Kampung Melayu Majidee, 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

3.30pm - 7th stop :  Shopping time!! ( City Square, Komtar CC or KSL Mall)
The top 3 most happening shopping malls which are near to the city centre.
No matter when you visit this 3 shopping mall, there is always the crowd.

PS: Komtar CC and City Square are just next to each other, walking distance from the JB CIQ Complex (JB custom)
From JB CIQ Complex (JB custom), you may reach KSL Mall by taking a public bus S1 by Causeway Link  or Bus IM17 by Maju Bus Company (Fare: RM1.50 one way)

6.30pm - 8th stop : Dinner
End your tired day with a nice, scrumptious dinner of claypot chicken rice, located at the same kopitiam with the 1st stop of breakfast, at Taman Sri Tebrau.
Claypot chicken rice is always my favourite, compare to a normal chicken rice. The claypot rice is typically cooked over a charcoal stove, which adds a unique smokey and charred flavour to it.

No matter what's your reason to choose Johor Bahru as one of your travel destination, hope you enjoy this city. You will never regret of spending time to discover the beauty of Johor Bahru.

Some tips on how to choose the right watches.

14:42 Jia Ying 0 Comments

Did you wear watch?
What is your purpose to wear watch? As a time-keeping device??

I still remember the first watch I got from my parents. It was a cartoon-designed digital watch..
Until now , watch is still important to me, to remind myself the time, especially when I'm in a place without a clock.

Nowadays, most of the people don't use their watches for telling the time. Instead, they can also use their smartphone as a time-keeping device. Watch is not just to tell you the time. It is usual to have more than 1 function-able watch, to match our outfit of the day.

Believe it or not, a right watch will make your appearance look attractive and appealing .
Watch is one of the important fashion accessories.
Watch can be a symbol of status too.

In the current market, there is wide variety of watches available.
Here's are 2 simple tips from me on how to choose a suitable watch:

1. The formality of your outfit
Analog watches are considered classic and formal, making them suitable for business, formal events or a date.
The material and colour of strip should match with your outfit.
For casual, you can wear digital watch or smartwatch.
Size of the watch needs to be fit with your wrist size too.
Metal strip analog watch match with light colour formal dress.

2. Match your watches with your shoes.
A black watchband is more suited for formal events.
Silver watches match best with dark colour shoes such as  black and grey ;
Gold watches go with browns or other earth tones colour of shoes.
When you wear a leather shoes, match it with your leather strip watch.
For men, since there are not much fashion accessories can be used, therefore a stylish watch will add a lot of impression to their appearance.
