Hotel review: T+ Hotel Macallum Penang
During a travel, there are quite a few of thing you need to choose and decide.
Accommodation is one of it. A good accommodation can be one of the factors that influence your mood of travel.
Today, I would like to introduce the newest hotel in Georgetown -- T+ Hotel Macallum.
T Hotel considered as Budget Hotel, and has been in operation for the last ten years. T Hotel is one of the largest and fastest growing economy lodging chains in northern. It’s provide basic facilities, tidy and neat environment with comfort stay.
T+ hotel just launched its very 1st branch in Georgetown in July 2015. Therefore , all facilities in the hotel are very new and clean, with very affordable price.
T+ Hotel is located near to Heritage site. It is possible to walk from here to the city centre, Jetty terminal and to the shopping malls such as 1st Avenue, Komtar and Prangin Mall.
The theme and style of whole hotel and the rooms are simple, elegance and white.
The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in all rooms, 24-hour front desk, luggage storage and free car park just in front of the lobby.
There are 2 choices of room, either a Standard twins or Standard King. I chose a King Size bed.
The space of the room is big.
The bathroom- temperature of water can be adjust.
This hotel don't have the luxury facilities such as gym, swimming pool etc... However, the hotel provides all the basics need for a stay such as toiletries, hair dryer, kettle and cups for drinking.
No worry of bringing a big luggage for toiletries. Everything you need is provided.
Overall, it's a pleasant and comfortable stay for me with all the facilities the hotel have. I checked in at late night and checked out in early morning for my next destination. Therefore, even with luxury facilities, I have no time to use it.
The price of the room is budget within vicinity, without providing the breakfast. This hotel is definitely suitable for those traveler and backpacker who spend most of their day time in exploring the city and just demanding a comfortable stay during night.

Penang Hop-on Hop-off:
You may take Hop-on Hop-off bus and choose to stop at either Stop 8 (near to Komtar shopping mall) or Stop 12 ( near to Jetty Terminal) and walk about 10-15 minutes to reach the T+ hotel Macallum.
